During twenty interviews with refugees from Kosovo (all Albanian) temporarily sheltered in Norway, the informants were asked questions relating first to their displacement, and second to their thoughts regarding the roots and causes of the crisis in Kosovo, their views on the future development of Kosovo and their attitudes and ideas regarding concepts like human rights, democracy and reconciliation. Some interviews were also conducted and additional information on violations of humantitarian law collected, during a mission to Kosovo in early September 1999. The information thus collected, is the basis of the present report.
