Marion is Head of Programmes in the Norwegian Helsinki Committee
She is responsible for the quality and development of our programme activities.
Marion started in 2019, and came to the NHC from Norad, the Norwegian Development Agency under the MFA, where she was a senior advisor in the Department for Civil Society. She has worked with external relations in Save the Children Norway and the Norwegian Red Cross, and has administered the Democracy Funds in the Norwegian Children and Youth Council. She has also been a coordinator for European police cooperation under the EEA funds in the Norwegian Police Directorate, and a political advisor for the Green Party in the Norwegian Parliament, as well as an elected member of the Oslo City Council. She is currently a member of the Green Party´s national programme committee.
