Csilla manages the organization’s project og program portfolio.  

Csilla was born in Romania and has long experience from living and studying at the confluence of Romanian and Hungarian cultures in Transylvania. She started working with us in 2008 as our coordinator of human rights education projects and led the organization’s work in strengthening civil society in Eastern Europe through the EEA Grants. After a short period as senior adviser for international cooperation at the Arts Council Norway she returned to us. Csilla has now the overall responsibility for streamlining project management processes, reporting and analyses.

I will do my best to ensure that this organization makes a real contribution and strengthens human rights and democracy in the world.”

Before joining the NHC, Csilla worked with adult immigrants to Norway, designing and teaching language and society courses. She has also experience as a research assistant in political science. She holds a Bachelor in pedagogy, literature and languages from Sibiu, Romania and a Master of Philosophy in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Oslo, Norway. 

She speaks Romanian, Hungarian, English and Norwegian and has basic understanding of French.
